The Adaptive Sports Boot Camp in Milwaukee is set to provide military veterans with a platform to prepare for the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, scheduled from July 17-22 in Minneapolis. The boot camp will feature various sports training sessions, including boccia, disc golf, tennis, and basketball.

Media representatives are invited to capture images of the veterans as they train and have opportunities to conduct interviews with both participants and staff. The two-day event will also offer training in air rifle shooting, adaptive fitness, softball, pickleball, cycling, among other activities.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex located at 6000 W. Ryan Rd., Franklin, Wisconsin. Media personnel are advised to park in the main lot of the complex and meet at the facility entrance where a VA representative will assist them in navigating the training locations.
