Ascension Wisconsin announced on Apr. 1 that it will hold a “Medical Mission at Home” event in Appleton on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The outreach will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Xavier High School, located at 1600 W. Prospect Ave.
The event is intended to bring healthcare and community support directly to people who need it most by offering services focused on health, healing, and hope. Ascension said the initiative demonstrates its commitment to caring for the whole person by connecting caregivers, volunteers, and community partners with local residents.
All services provided during the event are free of charge and do not require insurance or prior registration. Care will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and is open to everyone.
Services offered include primary care medical exams, pharmacy support through the Dispensary of Hope program, foot washing and podiatry care, as well as respiratory care. Attendees can also access spiritual support and connect with local resources or schedule follow-up appointments if needed.
According to Ascension Wisconsin’s announcement, Medical Mission at Home is one of its key community initiatives aimed at meeting individuals where they are while supporting their health needs with dignity and respect.
