Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 99th House district since 2025, has recently used her social media platform to address several pressing issues, including the remembrance of the 2023 Hamas attacks in Israel, the ongoing housing crisis affecting young Americans, and legislative efforts to address concerns about certain products impacting public health.
On October 7, 2025, Dittrich reflected on the anniversary of the Hamas attacks in Israel. She wrote, “Two years ago, we watched stunned at the most barbaric and horrific acts committed by Hamas against innocent Jewish citizens in Israel. Today, on the Assembly Floor, under the leadership of @LisaSubeck we remembered in those lost, those still held as hostages, those traumatized”.
The following day, October 8, 2025, Dittrich turned her attention to domestic issues facing Wisconsin residents. She stated, “Those of us with young adults in our lives see every day how our nation’s housing crisis is robbing a generation of hardworking Americans of their basic life goals. Limited inventory and Wisconsin’s regulatory environment certainly haven’t helped.
Yesterday, I did what was in”.
Later that same day, Dittrich highlighted public health concerns related to certain products affecting children and unsuspecting individuals. She posted, “The upsetting stories I’ve heard from constituents on kids ending up in the ER and unsuspecting individuals being impaired by these products make this bill necessary. I am proud to be a cosponsor of this legislation.”
Dittrich succeeded Cindi Duchow as representative for Wisconsin’s 99th House district after being elected in 2025.
The posts reflect Rep. Dittrich’s engagement with both international remembrance efforts and local legislative priorities within Wisconsin.
