Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 99th House district, posted a series of updates on her social media accounts between February 10 and 11, 2026. Her posts covered topics ranging from internet safety for children to local efforts against human trafficking and community engagement with librarians.
On February 10, Dittrich highlighted her involvement in efforts to improve online safety for young people. She wrote, “Today is Safer Internet Day. As time progresses, it is only becoming more important to protect our kids as they spend more time online. This is why I am proud to be apart of the Speaker’s Taskforce on Protecting Kids so we can ensure the next generation is safe.”
Later that day, she commented on a recent legal outcome involving human trafficking in Wisconsin. In her post dated February 10, Dittrich stated, “I am relieved to see this Wisconsin human trafficker put behind bars where he can no longer harm any more vulnerable local people.”
The following day, on February 11, Dittrich shared her appreciation for visits from local librarians and discussed how library systems adapt their collections to regional needs. She said, “It’s ALWAYS a special day when the librarians come to visit! I especially enjoyed meeting some new friends this year and hearing how the different library systems around our state can customize their collections to the unique needs of their regions.
