In a post from September 12, Dittrich commented on a recent incident: “While I am greatly relieved that the suspected perpetrator of Wednesday’s targeted political assassination has been apprehended, I am deeply troubled by the hateful violence that has been instilled in this generation of Americans. I beg us all to elevate the rhetoric” (September 12, 2025).

Later that day, she announced the latest edition of her newsletter: “My latest edition of the Dittrich Dispatch is out NOW! Read it here: https://t.co/gGDTvNmlCA… https://t.co/p6HcaKeE77” (September 12, 2025).

In another update regarding legislative matters in Wisconsin, Dittrich wrote: “On Thursday, the Assembly was back in session, voting on important legislation that impacts people and families across the state of Wisconsin. Assembly Bill 388 – directs the Department of Health Services to give Rogers Behavioral Health a one-time grant in 2025-26 to build a” (September 12, 2025).

Barbara Dittrich began serving as representative for Wisconsin’s 99th House district after being elected in 2025. She succeeded Cindi Duchow as part of ongoing Republican leadership within the state legislature.
