Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 99th House district, shared several updates on her official X account regarding her recent activities and public service announcements.
On April 14, 2026, Dittrich announced her appointment to a full three-year term on the Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) Board. She wrote, “I am honored to announce that late last week I was notified that I was appointed to serve the full three-year term on the @WCTC Board. Having served out the remainder of former Rep. Tom Michalski’s term this past year has been incredibly fulfilling, and I look forward to”.
Later that day, Dittrich described outreach efforts in her district: “Yesterday, my staff and I spent a fantastic day out in the district delivering Wisconsin Blue Books to the remainder of our schools and speaking with some of our eager 4th grade learners. Of course, my favorite stop was our last one was Greenland Elementary School in Oconomowoc,” she posted on April 14.
In another post from April 14, Dittrich reminded constituents about severe weather preparedness during Severe Weather Awareness Week: “By now you likely know that it’s SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK, and with a tornado watch just issued for our area, combined with last night’s storms, it’s time to dust off your preparedness skills for the season again! Know your safety plan ahead of time. Have a safety kit”.
Barbara Dittrich began serving in the Wisconsin State Assembly after being elected in 2025. She succeeded Cindi Duchow as representative for the state’s 99th House district.
