Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent Wisconsin’s 99th House district, shared updates on legislative activities and community acknowledgments through a series of tweets this past week.
On February 6, Dittrich highlighted recent committee work at the Capitol, writing, “To finish out a VERY busy week at the Capitol, yesterday the Assembly Committee on Children and Families held a Public Hearing on a number of bills. Several of these were a product of the Speaker’s Taskforce on Protecting Kids, which I am apart of. These included: Assembly Bill https://t.co/NGNQCWWA1y”.
Three days later, on February 9, Dittrich turned her attention to senior citizens in Wisconsin. She posted, “Here’s some good news to start the week for Wisconsin’s seniors. We truly worked hard this past budget cycle to make our state a more affordable place to remain in your golden years. This is at least a start.

That same day, she also acknowledged the contributions of school bus drivers and addressed ongoing efforts related to student transportation safety. Dittrich stated, “Thank you to all of our school bus drivers dedicated to getting our students safely to and from school and events for us. We’ve worked hard this session on school bus safety issues. Be sure to join me in thanking your school bus drivers this week! https://t.co/ei5R0onjtX”.
Barbara Dittrich assumed office after winning election in 2025 and succeeded Cindi Duchow as representative for Wisconsin’s 99th House district.
