Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 99th Assembly District, recently highlighted her legislative priorities and engagement with the state’s agricultural community through several social media posts.
On July 26, 2025, Dittrich addressed tax policy concerns in her district, stating, “The number two priority for constituents of the 99th Assembly District was tax cuts. We have battled the governor since 2018 for any meaningful level of easing Wisconsin’s tax burden. Finally, this biennial budget, we were able to provide a break for every Wisconsinite,”.
In a subsequent post on July 28, 2025, Dittrich discussed her ongoing dialogue with members of the agricultural sector: “Friday morning, I chatted with Ben Miller of the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. I am so grateful to all of the farmers who have so patiently taught me about their work since I was first elected in 2018. Wisconsin’s dairy industry has a huge economic impact on our state and reaches”.
Later that day, she continued by sharing information related to state budget provisions affecting local agriculture: “Since we started the day talking about farmers, let me share with you some of the highlights for Wisconsin farmers in our latest biennial budget.”
Dittrich assumed office in 2025 as representative for the state’s 99th House district after succeeding Cindi Duchow. Her public statements underscore her focus on reducing tax burdens and supporting key sectors such as agriculture—both significant issues within her constituency.
