Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 99th House district, shared several updates on her social media accounts between February 24 and 25, 2026.
On February 24, Dittrich commented on the authority of governors to enact tax policies affecting future generations. She wrote, “No governor, Republican or Democrat, should have the power to raise taxes on future generations who aren’t even born yet and who are not yet voters. (Sounds an awful lot like ‘taxation without representation’ to me. ) If you share that viewpoint, you will be able to vote on a https://t.co/8g0XCTNaGA”.
Later that day, Dittrich highlighted a media feature about Oconomowoc by Discover Wisconsin. She posted on February 24: “Did you catch the awesome feature on Oconomowoc by Discover Wisconsin? What other spots would you add to their list??? https://t.co/476e9OZsXc”.
On February 25, Dittrich encouraged support for Kellen Wolbert, a student athlete from Oconomowoc High School in her district. She stated: “Join me in cheering on Kellen Wolbert, one of the 99th Assembly District’s most incredible student athletes! This weekend, he will attempt to win a record 4th state championship in his final season at Oconomowoc High School.
