Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 99th House district since her election in 2025, used her social media platform this week to highlight several national awareness campaigns and express gratitude toward key community sectors.
On May 10, Dittrich acknowledged the significance of local healthcare providers during National Hospital Week, stating, “This week is National Hospital Week. We are grateful for our high quality hospitals in Wisconsin and the care that they provide for all of us!”
Later that day, she drew attention to National Women’s Health Week with a message aimed at promoting health awareness among women: “Today also kicks off National Women’s Health Week! This week’s aim is to help raise awareness for women’s health issues and encourage women to take steps towards keeping themselves healthy.”
On May 11, Dittrich shifted focus to law enforcement officers in recognition of National Police Week. She wrote, “This week is National Police Week. I want to take a second to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our law enforcement officers who fight every day to keep our communities safe.”
National Hospital Week and National Women’s Health Week are annual observances intended to recognize the contributions of healthcare professionals and raise awareness about women’s health issues across the United States. Similarly, National Police Week honors law enforcement personnel nationwide.
Dittrich succeeded Cindi Duchow as state representative following her election in 2025.
