Rep. Barbara Dittrich, who represents Wisconsin’s 99th Assembly District, has recently shared a series of posts on her social media account addressing both community recognition and local concerns.

On August 7, 2025, Dittrich acknowledged military service members in her district by posting: “I want to honor all purple heart recipients today, but especially those who live in the 99th Assembly District. Your service, sacrifice, and trauma are never forgotten.”

Later that same day, she addressed public safety issues related to Milwaukee and their broader impact on surrounding communities. In her post dated August 7, 2025, Dittrich stated: “When Milwaukee doesn’t handle its crime problems, they become all of OUR problems. Many residents of the 99th Assembly District work, own businesses, or enjoy entertainment in Milwaukee, so it only made sense to join my colleagues in calling for Milwaukee leadership to”

Barbara Dittrich was elected as a Republican to the Wisconsin State House in 2025 to represent the state’s 99th House district. She succeeded Cindi Duchow as state representative.
