Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 99th House district, recently used her social media platform to highlight several community events and public service reminders.
On April 15, 2026, Dittrich posted about the annual tax filing deadline: “It’s everybody’s favorite day… the dreaded April 15th Tax Day filing deadline. Need more time to get it done? Check the IRS website on how to file for an extension at https://t.co/FxMCMctMfv. You MUST request that extension before today’s deadline, or you will be facing https://t.co/4TfYovIj9q”. The post emphasized the importance of meeting IRS deadlines and provided resources for those seeking extensions.
Later that same day, Dittrich highlighted a visit from local students: “My office was so glad to welcome students from St. Jerome’s to the Capitol today! We were thrilled to hear that the students were enjoying the Blue Books we had dropped off at their school a couple of weeks ago.” The message underscored her engagement with youth and educational initiatives in her district.
On April 16, 2026, Dittrich marked National Librarian Day by recognizing library staff: “It’s National Librarian Day! Today we celebrate the amazing people who keep all or our libraries running – helping you find your next great read, answering questions, and helping ALL of us continue to learn! https://t.co/0Wfjmd7rJ0”.
Dittrich assumed office in Wisconsin’s State House in 2025 after being elected as representative for District 99. She succeeded Cindi Duchow in this role.
