Later that day, she acknowledged local organizations for their efforts in organizing community events. In her tweet “THANK YOU, Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Oconomowoc Business Association, and @WI_Oconomowoc for all of the hard work you put into making the #Ocon150 celebration and street dance such fun prior to the weather coming in tonight!”, she commended their contributions to the #Ocon150 celebration and street dance.

On July 6, Rep. Dittrich initiated a discussion about holiday traditions through social media engagement. Her tweet “This weekend’s hot debate amongst Lake Country friends — Do drone shows adequately replace 4th of July fireworks?” invited followers to vote on whether they preferred traditional fireworks or modern drone shows for Independence Day celebrations.
