On February 23, 2026, Dittrich informed followers about the extended hours of the state Assembly session, stating: “In case you weren’t following along, we were on the floor of the Assembly until 9 PM on Friday night. Here are the last few critical issues we were buttoning up before the end of session.”
Later that day, she highlighted collaborative efforts with State Senator John Jagler regarding newborn health initiatives: “State Senator @JohnJagler & I worked for years to get this test added to Wisconsin’s newborn screening panel. As we approach Rare Disease Day on the 28th, I am happy to see that the addition of this test will save the lives of more children.” The reference to Rare Disease Day underscores ongoing legislative attention to healthcare for vulnerable populations.
