Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent Wisconsin’s 99th House district, used her social media platform this week to address religious observances and community awareness events.

On April 1, 2026, Dittrich extended Passover greetings with the message: “As the sun sets today, I wish all of our Jewish constituents and those around the world, Chag same’ach, a very Happy and Blessed Passover!”

The following day, she marked World Autism Awareness Day by highlighting the contributions of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD): “April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. ASD makes our world a richer place by seeing life from unique angles. You are an important part of our communities!” This annual observance aims to increase understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism.

Later on April 2, Dittrich informed constituents about her office schedule during Easter weekend: “My office will be closed tomorrow – Friday, April 3rd – in observance of Good Friday and Easter weekend. Constituents can still e-mail the office or leave a voicemail for us to address when we return on Monday, April 6th. (608) 237-9199 Rep.Dittrich@legis.wisconsin.gov”

Barbara Dittrich began serving as state representative after being elected in 2025 to replace Cindi Duchow in Wisconsin’s 99th House district.
