Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican elected in 2025 to represent Wisconsin’s 99th House district, shared several updates and public messages on her social media account between March 16 and March 17, 2026.
On March 16, Dittrich warned about severe weather conditions affecting travel across the country. She wrote, “Over 1,800 flights have been canceled nationwide because of this weather system. Please stay off the roads if you can because no one will come to tow you in these conditions if you’re stuck. If you have a flight today, check your flight at https://t.co/18XdXbtO3n to see if it is https://t.co/MsIPWp7sq4”.
Later that day, she posted about attending a military commissioning ceremony at the Wisconsin State Capitol. On March 16, she stated, “What an incredible honor it was to attend the commissioning of @oconschools & @UWMadison graduate @USMC 2nd Lt Nathaniel Sitzberger on Friday at our State Capitol. We are so proud of him and grateful for his excellence in service to our nation. I presented him with a small token https://t.co/qE5WdA8cmv”.
On March 17, Dittrich marked St. Patrick’s Day by sharing information about its significance and inviting followers to learn more about Irish heritage: “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
