Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican member of the Wisconsin State House representing the 99th district since 2025, shared several updates on her official Twitter account in mid-October 2025.
On October 15, Dittrich reflected on her participation in a recent legislative session, stating, “I was also honored to offer the opening prayer of our floor session yesterday. It was humbling to lead the Assembly in praying for our first responders and their families as well as for the Israeli hostages released and their loved ones.”
Later that evening, she commented on a local event, writing on October 16, “What a wonderful evening seeing so many of you at the Oconomowoc Area Historical Society & Museum gala! In another post on October 16, Dittrich criticized the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), stating, “This is OUTRAGEOUS! And for DPI to blame the legislature for underfunding the Department is laughable, especially with the article belying those claims. The bottom line is that DPI is NOT adequately protecting kids, but is instead protecting teachers. I will be pursuing ways to”
Dittrich succeeded Cindi Duchow as the representative for Wisconsin’s 99th House district after being elected in 2025.
