We’ve seen a surge in crime across the country in recent years, and Milwaukee is not immune. What are the current challenges facing the department, how is the department responding and what does it all mean for Milwaukee’s ability to compete with other regions for corporate investment and talented employees? We’ll also get a regional health update from Dr. John Raymond, President and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin. About the SpeakerChief Norman was appointed to the Milwaukee Police Department in 1996. He was appointed to serve as Acting Chief in December 2020 and was sworn in as Chief in November 2021. Chief Norman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Masters of Public Administration degree from Kaplan University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School.
