On Tuesday, June 13 the Common Council’s Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee will discuss the status of Northridge Mall in the 9th Aldermanic District. File #230021, sponsored by area Alderwoman Larresa Taylor, is communication from the Department of City Development, the Milwaukee Fire Department, and the Office of the City Attorney relating to the current status of the former Northridge Mall.

“For many years now the Northridge Mall site has been vacant and its status in flux, all the while enduring everything from vandalism, to break-ins, and even fires,” said Alderwoman Taylor. “This seems like an ideal time to bring all of the relevant City entities to the table so we can have a transparent discussion about this property, including what has been happening lately and perhaps even more importantly, what we want to see happen here moving forward.”

The Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on June 13 and will be streamed live on the City Channel (channel 25 on Spectrum Cable and channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse in the City of Milwaukee) and via streaming video on the city website at city.milwaukee.gov/Channel25.
