Cousins Subs announced on April 2 the return of its semi-annual Round Up Campaign, inviting guests throughout April to support the Make It Better Foundation by rounding up their in-store purchases or adding donations online. The foundation focuses on addressing community needs in health and wellness, hunger relief, and youth education.

The campaign aims to encourage customer participation by allowing those dining in stores to round up their checks to the nearest dollar, while online and mobile app users can add $0.25 or $0.50 per order, with an option for larger contributions. This initiative is part of Cousins Subs’ ongoing commitment to supporting local communities primarily in Wisconsin through grants, scholarships, and donations focused on these areas according to the official website.

Christine Specht, CEO of Cousins Subs, said: “Our guests continue to show incredible generosity through the Round Up Campaign. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps us give back to the communities we call home.”

Recently, four organizations received grants from the Make It Better Foundation: First Stage was funded for Gold Field Trip Packages benefiting underserved schools; H.A.V.E.N Mission, Inc. received support for emergency assistance programs for veterans and first responders; Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium obtained funding for a digital system upgrade enhancing STEM learning; Porchlight, Inc. was supported in providing work supplies through its Gear Up for Success program.

Since its founding in 2013, Cousins Subs has donated over $1.4 million via its foundation efforts according to the official website. The company operates nearly 100 sub sandwich shops across Wisconsin and Indiana specializing in grilled-to-order and deli-fresh submarine sandwiches made with fresh ingredients according to the official website. Emphasizing quality food and community engagement are central values at Cousins Subs according to the official website, with a particular focus on better bread as a key feature of their menu offerings according to the official website.

Looking ahead, Cousins Subs will continue supporting community organizations primarily within Wisconsin through initiatives led by its foundation according to the official website.
