Cousins Subs celebrated the grand opening of its latest location in Madison, Wisconsin, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event took place at 1 N. Park St., near the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus, and included participation from the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce and Bucky Badger.

“This location is a full-circle moment for our brand,” stated Christine Specht, CEO of Cousins Subs. “We’re proud to bring our deli fresh food back to downtown Madison and serve the vibrant student community and city residents in this iconic spot.”

The new restaurant can accommodate 36 guests and features the ‘Milwaukee Sub Shop’ décor, characterized by natural wood, stone, and metal finishes that reflect Cousins Subs’ heritage. The establishment also includes large windows for a bright atmosphere and digital menu boards for an enhanced customer experience.

Customers can enjoy a variety of deli fresh and grilled-to-order subs along with sides for dine-in, pick-up, or delivery. Catering services are available through online or phone orders. Members of Cousins Club earn points on every purchase both online and in-store.

To cater to students and local events, the store will operate with rotating seasonal hours. From June through August, it will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., extending until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. From September through May, operating hours shift to Sunday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with extended hours until midnight from Thursday to Saturday. Adjustments will be made for major events and game days.
