Gabrielle LePine has been named the Horizon League Women’s Swimmer of the Week after a strong performance at UIC last Friday. LePine competed in two individual events, winning both. She secured first place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.28 and then won the 200 breaststroke, finishing in 2:21.05.
This marks LePine’s second such honor this season. In her debut season as a Panther, she has won every individual event she has entered. The Milwaukee team now boasts four Horizon League Athlete of the Week winners this season.
The Panther Swimming & Diving team will next compete at the IU Indy House of Champions Meet in Indianapolis from November 21 to November 23.
