Logan Langseth has been appointed as the assistant coach for the Milwaukee women’s soccer team, according to an announcement made by head coach Kevin Boyd. Langseth expressed his enthusiasm about joining the program, stating, “I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Milwaukee women’s soccer program.” He emphasized that UWM felt like a natural fit and expressed eagerness to contribute to a program with a strong tradition.

Langseth’s previous role was as head coach at the University of Pikeville in Kentucky. Under his leadership, the team achieved its best win-loss record in over 15 years and secured its first victory in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. “I care deeply about building culture the right way,” Langseth remarked, highlighting his commitment to investing in people and helping the team progress.

In 2024, Langseth’s final season with Pikeville saw the team surpass all previous statistical records. His tenure there marked him as the second-winningest coach in UPIKE history. Kevin Boyd welcomed Langseth’s appointment, noting, “I am excited to welcome Logan to Milwaukee and am looking forward to him joining the Panthers.” Boyd praised Langseth’s experience and success in improving programs quickly.

Langseth’s coaching career began in 2014 at Albright College as an assistant coach. He later contributed to Ohio Northern University’s success by winning an OAC title and coached at Ohio Extreme Soccer Club. His career includes roles at Tiffin University, where he was part of a GLIAC Championship win, Northern Michigan University, Cincinnati Christian University, Florida Memorial University, and Kentucky Christian University.

As a player, Langseth had a successful four-year stint at Penn State Berks with notable achievements in points, goals, assists, games played, and games started. He graduated from Penn State Berks with a degree in Global Studies and Political Science and holds a master’s degree from Tiffin University.
