On Saturday, April 19, former Marquette University High School standout Joey Pettit’s current college team, the Aurora Spartans, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Marian Sabres.
The game took place at Jim Schmid Field at Stuart Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Sabres this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 12 p.m. at Wintrust Field against Dominican Stars.
