The Meros Center, in partnership with Wisconsin Lutheran College and Kingdom Workers, has announced the launch of Meros Africa. This new initiative is designed to create a network across the African continent that connects researchers, practitioners, pastors, and community leaders focused on faith-based health research and professional development.

Meros Africa aims to bring together scholars and organizations from various regions to advance knowledge that supports physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in communities. The network encourages collaborative learning and shared expertise to help Christian health ministries better serve Africa’s diverse populations.

“Our vision is for Meros Africa to serve as a virtual center of excellence and become a leading resource for Christian health ministries across the continent,” said Dr. Jennifer Hatzfeld, Regional Network Director for the Meros Center. “By fostering connections and sharing insights across organizations, we believe the network will unlock new possibilities for faith-informed health impact.”

The initiative aligns with the broader mission of the Meros Center: connecting Christian health ministries worldwide with research resources, training opportunities, and relationships needed to enhance their service. By facilitating collaboration among organizations and leaders, the Meros Center seeks to strengthen ministry programs and highlight how faith-centered care can improve overall well-being.

The Meros Center operates as a global research and training community dedicated to supporting innovation in Christian health ministry. It provides access to research resources while connecting students, volunteers, researchers, and practitioners with training opportunities.
