Milwaukee Athletics and the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin (OHOW) have announced a three-year extension of their partnership. This agreement, facilitated through Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties, part of Learfield, secures OHOW’s role as the Official Healthcare Provider for Milwaukee Athletics until the end of the 2027-28 season. OHOW has been a partner since 2011, providing healthcare and orthopedic services at the Panthers’ home sporting events for student-athletes.

Amanda Braun, Milwaukee Director of Athletics, expressed appreciation for OHOW’s continued involvement: “For well over a decade, Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin has stood by our side, championing our athletes and our mission. We are very thankful to continue this amazing partnership with OHOW and we are grateful for physicians Dr. Don Middleton, Dr. Patrick Jost, Dr. Jake Bauwens, and Dr. John Wu who work hand-in-hand with our student-athletes. A renewed commitment from such a long-time partner speaks volumes, and we’re honored to keep moving forward together.”

OHOW will maintain exclusive rights to various marketing and promotional assets, including courtside signage at selected Panthers’ sporting events and use of Milwaukee Athletics logos.

Brandon G. Goldbeck, Chief Executive Officer of OHOW, stated, “OHOW’s partnership with UWM is a critical piece of our community involvement. The relationship is easy when UWM and OHOW align with all targets of excellence. This has been a wonderful benefit for the hospital as well as the UWM student-athletes. The credit for service must include the OHOW team physicians. The efforts of Dr. Patrick Jost, Dr. Don Middleton, Dr. Jake Bauwens, and Dr. John Wu cannot be underscored. They dedicate hundreds of hours to serving the injured athletes. With their dedicated commitment, both sides are stronger.”

Kristina Filipovic, General Manager of Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties, also commented on the renewed relationship: “We’re thrilled to continue our longstanding relationship with OHOW as the Exclusive Healthcare Provider of Milwaukee Athletics. Their support of Milwaukee Athletics and Panther student-athletes as well as the care they provide to Milwaukee and surrounding communities makes them an invaluable partner for the success of our athletics programs.”

Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin, based in Glendale, WI, is renowned for its expertise in orthopedic care and operates eight outpatient facilities in the Milwaukee area. Learfield, the company coordinating this partnership, serves a wide range of collegiate athletics institutions, offering solutions to enhance fan engagement and brand connections.
