The Milwaukee men’s basketball team is set to start its 2025-26 Horizon League season in early December. The Panthers will host Robert Morris, last year’s Horizon League regular-season and tournament champion, at the UWM Panther Arena on December 6.
After the league opener against Robert Morris, which finished the previous season with a 26-9 record and participated in the NCAA Tournament, Milwaukee will travel to play Cleveland State on December 21. The Panthers then return home to face Purdue Fort Wayne on December 29.
The team begins 2026 with an away game at Wright State on New Year’s Day, followed by another road matchup at Green Bay on January 5. A three-game homestand follows, where Milwaukee will host Northern Kentucky on January 9, IU Indianapolis on January 11, and Oakland on January 15.
Subsequent games include road contests at Purdue Fort Wayne and Robert Morris before facing Youngstown State for the first time this season on January 24. Milwaukee will close out January by hosting Wright State on January 30 and begin February with a home game against Cleveland State. Detroit Mercy visits for their first meeting of the season on February 4.
A single road game at Northern Kentucky is scheduled for February 7 before Milwaukee hosts Green Bay downtown on February 15. The regular season ends with three away games in four matchups: trips to Detroit Mercy (February 20), Oakland (February 22), and IU Indianapolis (February 28). The final home contest will be against Youngstown State on February 25.
The Horizon League Tournament is slated to begin during the first week of March.
