Milwaukee’s men’s basketball team secured a 70-59 victory over Green Bay at the UWM Panther Arena, marking their fourth consecutive win in the series. The Panthers improved to an 8-0 record at home this season.

Themus Fulks was pivotal in the game, scoring his 1,000th point in NCAA Division I and leading with 14 points. He achieved this milestone with two free throws during the second half. Fulks’ performance included a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line, contributing significantly to Milwaukee’s success.

“Green Bay has gotten a lot better and they added a couple of players,” head coach Bart Lundy said. “They had a week to prep and we saw some different offensive stuff (from them). It’s like any league game or rivalry game … it’s going to be a battle.”

Fulks also contributed six rebounds and five assists. Kentrell Pullian recorded his third double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds. John Lovelace Jr., stepping into the starting lineup due to Jamichael Stillwell’s injury, scored 10 points, including a crucial three-pointer.

Erik Pratt delivered an all-around performance with 10 points, five rebounds, two assists, and four steals. “Congratulations to Themus on his 1,000th point and 12-for-12 from the line,” Lundy said. “Erik Pratt was +21 and had a really good game.”

Despite trailing by as many as 14 points in the second half, Green Bay narrowed the gap to five before Milwaukee sealed their victory with successful free throws from Fulks and Pullian.

Marcus Hall and Yonatan Levy led Green Bay with 15 points each as their team faced its thirteenth consecutive loss this season.

Milwaukee shot at 43.8 percent from the floor overall while making nearly 77 percent of their free throws. They out-rebounded Green Bay by five boards.

Next up for Milwaukee is a match against Youngstown State at UWM Panther Arena on Friday at 7 p.m.
