Milwaukee Panthers fall to Green Bay in final road game of regular season

Milwaukee concluded its road schedule for the 2025-26 regular season with a loss to Green Bay at the Kress Center on Saturday afternoon. The Phoenix secured a 91-57 victory, marking their second game this season shooting above 58 percent and tying their season high with 27 assists.

Jenna Guyer led Green Bay, scoring a career-high 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting. Teammates Megan Schultz added 18 points, Carley Duffney had 16, and Maddy Skorupski contributed 10 points along with 11 assists for her second double-double of the year. The Phoenix dominated in rebounding, holding a 40-27 edge over Milwaukee, and scored 54 of their points in the paint.

For Milwaukee, Jorey Buwalda led with 14 points. Grace Lomen scored 12 points and recorded three steals. Izzy Pugh finished with 11 points. Sophia Rampulla added eight points and was the team’s top rebounder with four boards. Cece McNair led Milwaukee in blocks with four, while Jada Williams distributed five assists.

Green Bay established control early by leading 24-12 after the first quarter and extended its advantage to a halftime score of 49-26. In the second half, Green Bay continued to limit Milwaukee’s offense while adding another 42 points.

The Panthers will return home for their final two regular-season games starting Wednesday evening against Purdue Fort Wayne at 6:00 p.m.

The Milwaukee Panthers women’s basketball team is part of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s athletics program and competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the Horizon League. The team participates in both conference and non-conference games throughout each season while supporting student-athletes’ academic achievements alongside athletic commitments.
