The Milwaukee Panthers women’s basketball team will play its final road game of the 2025-26 regular season against the Green Bay Phoenix on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The matchup will take place at the Kress Center in Green Bay and will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Live statistics and additional coverage links are available on MKEPanthers.com.

Milwaukee enters the contest following a four-game losing streak, most recently falling to Wright State by a score of 77-55. In that game, Grace Lomen led the Panthers with 15 points, while Cece McNair contributed 12 points off the bench. Jorey Buwalda added 11 points and secured seven rebounds for Milwaukee. The team struggled defensively as Wright State made 14 three-pointers, converting over half their attempts from beyond the arc.

Green Bay comes into Saturday’s game after back-to-back Horizon League losses, including a home defeat to Northern Kentucky last weekend. This marks the first time since February 2020 that Green Bay has lost consecutive conference games and they have not lost three straight in league play since the mid-1990s.

Historically, Green Bay leads the series against Milwaukee with a record of 59-18 in Division I meetings. The Panthers have won only seven times in Green Bay but did secure a win there at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Key players for Green Bay include Jenna Guyer (14.3 points per game), Meghan Schultz (12.3), and Maddy Skorupski (10.9). The Phoenix rely heavily on their starters for scoring and maintain one of the top defensive records in the Horizon League, allowing just under 60 points per game.

When these teams met earlier this season in Milwaukee, Green Bay won by a score of 76-61.

Following Saturday’s matchup, Milwaukee will finish its regular season with two home games against Purdue Fort Wayne and IU Indy at Klotsche Center.

Several individual performances have stood out for Milwaukee this season. Cece McNair has increased her scoring output recently, accounting for more than half her total points over her last four games. Grace Lomen scored 30 points in an overtime loss to Robert Morris earlier this month—her performance marked only the 41st time a Panther has reached that milestone in program history.

Jorey Buwalda leads both her team and the Horizon League in double-doubles and rebounding statistics this year. She is also among league leaders in free throws made and percentage.

The Panthers continue to excel in bench production, leading their conference with an average of 24.5 bench points per game—a figure ranking among national leaders as well.

The Milwaukee Panthers women’s basketball team is part of NCAA Division I competition within the Horizon League and represents the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The program supports student-athletes’ academic progress alongside athletic commitments throughout both conference and non-conference schedules each season.

Milwaukee’s head coach Kyle Rechlicz is approaching a career milestone; she is three wins away from reaching her 200th victory since taking over before the 2012-13 campaign.
