Caleb Blackwell, Josh Dixon, Stevie Elam, Tate Mackenzie, and Ned Renfree have committed to join the Milwaukee Panthers men’s basketball team next season. The announcement was made by head coach Bart Lundy.

Blackwell is a point guard from Buford, Georgia. He currently plays for South Plains College in Texas and is considered one of the top JUCO point guards this season. “Our staff can’t wait to coach Caleb Blackwell,” said Lundy. “Caleb is winner and is a worker and gives us an experienced guard, as we will be graduating four seniors at the guard position.”

Josh Dixon, another point guard, hails from Milton High School in Georgia. He has been recognized as a 2024-25 First Team Preseason GHSA 5A All-State player. “Adding another Atlanta-area player, Josh will sign with us and our fans will be extremely elated when they get the chance to see him play,” stated Lundy.

Stevie Elam from Adrian High School in Michigan is known for his scoring ability and two-way play style. “Stevie Elam is a combo guard who is a two-way player,” remarked Lundy.

Tate Mackenzie will bring size to the team as a center standing at 6-foot-10 inches tall. Originally committed to football at Michigan, he switched to basketball and now plays for Howard College in Texas. “We are extremely excited to sign Tate,” expressed Lundy.

Ned Renfree comes from Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, known for his shooting skills and defense. He has international experience playing in Australia’s NBL Division II league. “Ned is one of our first international signees, coming from Australia,” noted Lundy.

The new recruits are expected to bring diverse skills and strengths to the Panthers’ roster for the upcoming season.
