The Milwaukee community is being invited to participate in shaping the long-range plan for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) buildings by completing a fall stakeholder survey. MPS has engaged Perkins Eastman, a consultant firm, to study district buildings, analyze data, and gather public input since April. The aim is to ensure that the district’s learning spaces meet the needs of students and the community.

Perkins Eastman has published its findings about district learning spaces online. MPS seeks additional feedback to guide how these findings will be used in developing a 10-year Long-Range Facilities Master Plan (LRFMP) for its buildings. This plan will significantly impact the future of school buildings and student experiences across Milwaukee.

Community members are encouraged to take part in this process by completing the survey available at mpsmke.com/mpsspcfsurvey before October 27. More information about the 10-year plan and subscription options for project updates can be found at www.mpsfacilitiesplan.com.
