Milwaukee VA plans July 3 picnic for local veterans

The Milwaukee VA Medical Center is organizing a picnic for veterans on July 3. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lake Wheeler Pavilion, located just north of the VA Medical Center at 5000 W. National Ave., Milwaukee.

This gathering aims to provide entertainment and celebration for inpatient veterans from the Milwaukee VA Medical Center and other veterans residing on the campus. The event is described as an informal celebration of America’s independence.

Veterans attending can expect music, food, and various forms of entertainment during the picnic.
