Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) has introduced a new application named WheresTheBus, aimed at assisting families in tracking their children’s school buses in real time. This app provides precise information on when the bus will arrive at the stop by monitoring its location and offering up-to-the-minute arrival times.

The WheresTheBus app is available for free and can be accessed from any internet-enabled device, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, or iPads. It is compatible with both Apple iOS and Android systems.

“The app gives peace of mind by knowing where the bus is,” said an MPS representative. The tracking feature allows students and families to remain indoors rather than waiting outside in unfavorable weather conditions.

To use WheresTheBus, families are required to have a Campus Parent account with a login and password. Families can establish this account through two specified methods.

For additional support regarding Campus Parent access issues, families may contact their child’s school or email parentportal@milwaukee.k12.wi.us. For assistance with accessing WheresTheBus, inquiries can be directed to busing@milwaukee.k12.wi.us.
