The Oconomowoc VA Clinic is set to commemorate its first year of service with a public event on June 25. The celebration aims to honor Veterans, their families, and caregivers while highlighting the healthcare services available at the clinic.

The event will feature a cookout offering free meals to Veterans, live music from the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 132nd Army Band, outdoor games, and resource tables providing information about various benefits. Veterans can learn about PACT Act benefits, undergo toxic exposure screenings, receive claims assistance from the Veterans Benefits Administration, or establish care at the Oconomowoc Clinic.

Veterans already enrolled in VA health care can find out how to transfer their care to the Oconomowoc facility. Those interested in transferring or enrolling can contact the clinic at 414-384-2000, ext. 44255.

Opened in June 2024, the Oconomowoc VA Outpatient Clinic is part of the Milwaukee-based Clement J. Zablocki VA Health Care System. It offers services such as primary care, mental health support, women’s health services, and telehealth.

The Zablocki VA Health Care System manages outpatient clinics across eastern Wisconsin in locations including Union Grove, Appleton, Cleveland, and Green Bay alongside its main medical center in Milwaukee.
