On Friday, March 14, former Pulaski High School standout Morgan Vertz’s current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.
