Raul Medina, a member of the Milwaukee men’s soccer team, has been named to the 2024 Academic All-District Soccer Team. This recognition comes from the College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as CoSIDA, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
This achievement marks the third consecutive season that Medina has received this award. Recently, he was also named to the 2024 Horizon League All-Academic Team and has consistently appeared on both the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll and Dean’s List throughout his academic career.
Medina has served as a full-time starter for his entire five-year career and is currently a two-year team captain. In 2023, he was the leading scorer for his team and continues to lead the Horizon League with seven assists this fall, despite an injury shortening his season to 12 games.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men’s Soccer Team honors student-athletes who excel both on the field and in academics. The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Those selected as finalists will advance to a national ballot voted on by CSC members.
