Sen. Mary Felzkowski, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 12th Senate district since 2021, recently shared her experiences at the Wisconsin State Fair and commented on state healthcare policy through a series of posts on her social media account.

On August 8, 2025, Felzkowski posted about attending the fair for the first time: “Mary’s first time at the state fair! #Wisconsin #wisconsinstatefair #creampuffs #icecreamforbreakfast #Politics”.

Later that day, she criticized Governor Tony Evers’ decision regarding healthcare legislation: “Democrats say they want easier access to affordable healthcare, yet Gov. Evers just vetoed a bipartisan bill to do just that. Failed leadership when the health of Wisconsinites is on the line”.

On August 9, Felzkowski provided another update from the fair: “Behind the scenes tour with Mr. State Fair himself! #behindthescenes #Wisconsin #politics #wisconsinstatefair”.

Felzkowski has served in the Wisconsin State Senate since replacing Tom Tiffany in 2021. Her recent statements reflect both engagement with community events and ongoing debate over healthcare policy in Wisconsin.
