Sen. Patrick Testin, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 24th Senate district since 2017, has recently posted a series of statements on his official social media account addressing both state politics and agricultural priorities.

On April 6, 2026, Sen. Testin commented on the timing of political announcements by elected officials. He stated, “It is not uncommon for some elected officials to dump undesirable news late on the Friday of a holiday weekend, hoping that most people will be too busy to notice. Then when the news cycle resets on Monday, they are essentially in the clear. Well, Gov. Evers tried that once https://t.co/VJCUKrbJuo”.

A day later, on April 7, 2026, Sen. Testin highlighted the significance of cranberry farming in his region and advocated for local representation on an important state board. He wrote, “Our region is one of the main reasons why our state regularly takes the title of the top grower of cranberries in the country. Because of that track record and expertise, it is imperative that we have as many local farmers as possible serve on the Wisconsin Cranberry Board. https://t.co/B7RbrnE4pW”.

Earlier in April, he also shared a post without additional commentary: https://t.co/XmAcPKm0FV (April 5, 2026).

Sen. Testin was first elected to office in 2017 after replacing Howard Marklein as senator for Wisconsin’s 24th district.
