Sen. Patrick Testin, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 24th Senate District since 2017, recently highlighted several topics on his social media account, ranging from agriculture to legislative achievements.

On March 16, 2026, Testin marked National Agriculture Week by emphasizing the significance of local farmers in the state’s agricultural sector. He stated, “It’s National Agriculture Week. Did you know that farmers in the 24th Senate District are a big reason why our state continues to be a national leader in the production of potatoes and cranberries? All told, the agriculture industry has an annual financial impact of $116.3” (March 16, 2026).

The following day, he posted about St. Patrick’s Day with a brief message: “Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.” (March 17, 2026).

On March 18, Testin announced legislative progress for several of his proposals. He wrote, “I am proud that five of my legislative proposals were passed by the Wisconsin State Senate during yesterday’s floor session. Those five bills are: AB 813: Improves the efficiency of the Opportunity Attraction and Promotion Fund that is administered by the Wisconsin” (March 18, 2026).

Testin was first elected to represent Wisconsin’s 24th Senate District in 2017 after succeeding Howard Marklein.
