Sen. Patrick Testin, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 24th Senate district since 2017, posted a series of public service announcements on his Twitter account between April 13 and April 15, 2026.

On April 13, Testin reminded constituents about the approaching tax deadline, stating: “Don’t forget. The deadline to file your taxes is Wednesday.”

The following day, on April 14, he highlighted the role of emergency dispatchers: “In the event of an emergency, dispatchers are generally your initial point of contact. Working behind the scenes and often underrecognized, they are the first to respond to traumatic situations, providing life-saving instructions and coordinating with police, fire and EMS”.

On April 15, Testin announced the start of Wisconsin’s spring turkey hunting season: “Ready, aim, … The 2026 spring turkey hunting season officially opens today. All seven turkey management zones in Wisconsin will be available for hunting during the spring season, which ends on May 26. If you would like further details on the spring turkey hunting season,”

Testin succeeded Howard Marklein as state senator in 2017 and has since used his platform to communicate important deadlines and community information to residents of his district.
