Sen. Patrick Testin, chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Revenue, has recently highlighted several local initiatives and legislative updates through his social media posts.
On October 6, 2025, Testin urged constituents to participate in supporting local businesses, stating, “For this round, tomorrow is the last day you can vote for Leer Inc. and the Toro Company. Please show these local companies your support.”
The following day, Testin discussed his ongoing engagement with Wisconsin’s agricultural community. In a post dated October 7, 2025, he wrote, “As chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Revenue, I take part in a monthly interview with Pam Jahnke of the ‘Mid-West Farm Report’ to talk about the latest agriculture-related news going on in Wisconsin. For October’s installment, we spoke about my community solar”.
On October 8, 2025, Testin provided an update on legislative activity within his committee: “Yesterday, the Senate Agriculture and Revenue Committee that I chair held a public hearing on several bills, one of which changes the eligibility requirements for the Agricultural Roads Improvement Program (ARIP). Created by the Legislature in 2023, ARIP awards grant funding to”.
Testin has served as a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Senate since 2017, representing the state’s 24th Senate district after succeeding Howard Marklein.
