Senator Mary Felzkowski, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 12th Senate district since 2021, has publicly criticized recent decisions and actions involving state leadership and campaign financing in a series of tweets.

On March 30, 2026, Felzkowski addressed Governor Tony Evers’ decision to veto an education bill, stating, “Gov. Evers just vetoed a bill that would have expanded educational opportunities for Wisconsin students without using any taxpayer funds or adding a single new bureaucrat. The so-called ‘education governor’ once again putting politics over Wisconsin students.”

The following day, on March 31, 2026, Felzkowski commented on campaign contributions linked to Michael Bloomberg and Attorney General Josh Kaul: “Michael Bloomberg contributed $500,000 to the WI Democratic Party, then COINCIDENTALLY funneled $500,000 into AG Josh Kaul’s campaign… Pretty fishy, Mr. Kaul #followthemoney #wipolitics #conservative #statesenate #governmentaccountability”

On April 1, 2026, Felzkowski returned to the topic of the education bill veto with another post: “WI students are going to miss out on HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars because of Gov. Evers’ veto #conservative #education #Wisconsin #scholarships #EducationFunding”

Felzkowski was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate in 2021 after serving as a replacement for Tom Tiffany. She has been vocal about her positions on education funding and government accountability.
