Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican representing Wisconsin and a member of several Senate committees, has recently made several statements on social media regarding the filibuster, COVID-19 vaccine safety, and alleged corruption during the Biden administration’s handling of the pandemic.

On May 1, 2026, Johnson urged public participation in a poll about the filibuster conducted by Senator Mike Lee. He wrote, “I encourage everyone to participate in Mike Lee’s poll on the filibuster.”

The following day, Johnson commented on COVID-19 vaccine safety. On May 2, 2026 he posted: “We didn’t need a sophisticated algorithm to see that the COVID injection was causing a great deal of harm. The massive volume of adverse events was a safety signal screaming at all of us.”

On May 4, 2026 Johnson addressed concerns over alleged corruption during the previous presidential administration’s response to COVID-19. He stated: “Yes, they did. Americans deserve to know the corruption that occurred under the Biden administration during the COVID pandemic. My investigation has only just begun.”

Senator Johnson resides in Oshkosh with his family and is active in community outreach through mobile office services for Wisconsin residents (official website). His office operates locations in Milwaukee, Madison, Oshkosh and Washington D.C., providing constituent services across these areas (official website). In his committee roles—spanning oversight functions as well as fiscal and senior support—he participates in the Senate Committee on Finance, Budget Committee and Special Committee on Aging (official website). Additionally, his office arranges for flags flown over the Capitol for Wisconsin residents wishing to honor special occasions (official website).
