Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican representing Wisconsin and member of several Senate committees, addressed issues ranging from U.S.-Iran relations to the Second Amendment and constituent engagement in a series of posts on April 12 and 13, 2026.

On April 12, Johnson posted: “No, I don’t support the war the Iranian regime declared against us 47 years ago. I support ending it once and for all.”

Later that day, he commented on the situation in Iran and U.S. domestic policy: “The brutal Iranian regime demonstrates the genius and enduring value of our Second Amendment. Unlike Democrats, who seem to be hoping for failure, I hope @POTUS succeeds. Imagine a world where the Ayatollahs can no longer hold the world hostage.”

On April 13, Johnson invited constituents to participate in an interactive event: “Join me TODAY at 4:30pm ET/3:30pm CT for another teletownhall. I’ll be calling out to thousands of Wisconsinites and answering your questions and concerns. Reply to this tweet with questions and tune in at the link below”

Senator Johnson resides in Oshkosh with his family and operates offices in Milwaukee, Madison, Oshkosh, and Washington to provide constituent services (official website). His office arranges flags flown over the Capitol for Wisconsin residents honoring special occasions. He supports community outreach through mobile office services across Wisconsin.

In addition to his public engagement efforts such as teletownhalls, Johnson participates in the Senate Committee on Finance, Budget Committee, Special Committee on Aging, and chairs the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (official website). His work focuses on oversight responsibilities, fiscal strategies, support for seniors, accountability initiatives, and ongoing community engagement.
