Senator Ron Johnson, U.S. Senator from Wisconsin and member of several Senate committees, posted a series of statements on social media in March 2026 regarding election integrity legislation and Senate procedural rules.

On March 21, Johnson expressed support for a colleague named Mike and his legislative efforts, stating, “Mike is a true patriot who wants to ensure the integrity of our elections. He is diligently sitting on the Senate floor listening to the Democrats’ mischaracterizations of his bill, seeking to accommodate any changes that might get their votes to pass the SAVE America Act.”

The following day, on March 22, Johnson addressed potential changes to Senate procedures: “I believe Democrats will nuke the filibuster the next time they’re in control — that’s the reality. The Senate is already broken. Let’s force a 67-vote rule change now and put them on the record. They might think twice before doing it when they’re in power.” A separate post from that day included only a link: “https://t.co/IrHDLuLHnH”.

Johnson serves as a member of the Senate Committee on Finance, Budget Committee, and Special Committee on Aging (official website). He also chairs the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and has emphasized oversight and fiscal responsibility throughout his tenure (official website). His office maintains locations in Milwaukee, Madison, Oshkosh, and Washington for constituent services (official website) and supports community outreach initiatives such as arranging flags flown over the Capitol for Wisconsin residents (official website). Johnson resides in Oshkosh with his family.
