Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican from Wisconsin and member of several Senate committees, questioned the intentions and actions of Senate Democrats in a series of social media posts on March 19, 2026.

In his first post at 11:01 a.m. UTC, Johnson asked, “Will Senate Democrats listen to, or ignore, their own voters?” Later that day at 6:01 p.m. UTC, he posted another message urging for accountability: “Put Democrats on the record:

It’s our only chance to make them think twice before doing so when they regain power.”
