U.S. Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin has partnered with Senator Ted Cruz of Texas to reintroduce the Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act. The proposed legislation aims to encourage local law enforcement agencies to work alongside federal immigration authorities by withdrawing taxpayer-funded grants from cities that have sanctuary policies.

Senators supporting this bill include Kevin Cramer, Tim Sheehy, James Lankford, Chuck Grassley, Pete Ricketts, Rick Scott, Ted Budd, Shelley Moore Capito, Deb Fischer, Bill Hagerty, John Hoeven, Cindy Hyde-Smith, and Jim Banks.
