Seth Hubbard, hailing from Jonesboro, Georgia, has committed to joining the Milwaukee men’s basketball team for the upcoming season. The announcement was made by head coach Bart Lundy. Hubbard previously played one season at Toledo and spent two years at Western Michigan.

“We are excited to welcome Seth to our program,” said Lundy. “Seth has a chance to make an immediate impact in the league. His work ethic and determination to be great will add to our culture and he will be a fan favorite.”

During his time with the Toledo Rockets, Hubbard participated in all 33 games last winter, leading as the top scorer off the bench with an average of 8.4 points per game. He also contributed 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Notably, he achieved double figures in scoring on 12 occasions, including a standout performance of 28 points against Akron in the Mid-American Conference semifinals.

Hubbard’s career at Western Michigan saw him lead his team as a sophomore with an average of 14.1 points per game, placing him 13th in the league standings for scoring that season. He also added career-high statistics of 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.

As a freshman during the 2022-23 season, Hubbard earned recognition on the All-MAC Freshman Team after contributing an average of 7.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

In high school, Hubbard averaged impressive numbers as well—20 points and five assists per game during his senior year at Huntington Prep in West Virginia—and enjoyed early success at St. Francis High School in Alpharetta, Georgia.
