The Delta variant and your business: Q and A with the Medical College team
After an overwhelming response to our recent webinar on the rise of the Delta variant of COVID-19 and its implications for the Milwaukee Region’s business community, we’re offering you another exclusive opportunity to ask your questions to experts from our partners at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Please join us Thursday, Aug. 19 from 8:30-9:15 a.m.
MMAC president Tim Sheehy will moderate a Q and A session with Dr. John Raymond, President and CEO, Medical College of Wisconsin, and Dr. Benjamin Weston, MCW Associate Professor and Medical Director at the Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management.
The Delta variant, a mutation of the COVID-19 virus that is believed to be significantly more contagious than previous strains, continues to spread in the U.S. The good news so far is that existing vaccines continue to effectively prevent serious illness, hospitalizations and deaths. But these emerging developments have an impact on employers, from masking policies in the workplace to disrupting plans for a large-scale return to the office for remote and hybrid workers.
A replay of the previous webinar is available on MMAC’s YouTube channel. The presentation from that webinar, and other COVID-19 resources for business, can be found on the Health and Safety Toolkit page on MMAC.org.
This event will be held separately from the monthly Business of Metro MKE webinar series, so all attendees must register to attend. Registration is free.
